Allura Foundation Brush (Poundland)

As someone who only recently started using brushes in my makeup routine (I know....don't kill me for it!) I know that there are soooo many different types of foundation brushes from, Stippling to Flat, and different price ranges going from £1 to £50+! So I just wanted something simple and cheap to try so that I would find out if I should just stick to using my fingers instead. Therefore while shopping in Poundland I got myself the lovely Allura Foundation Brush! (£1)

As you can see this fits the bill for the usual flat foundation brush and this comes with synthetic brushes that are white with a pink end. (Very cute as it goes with the case colour scheme it comes in!) But obviously as it is stark white, due to the foundation it has actually stained which is a same, however I was expecting it to.
It's also quite soft (or at least a lot softer than what I was expecting) and I do like the sleek black handle has it makes it look very chiq. It doesn't go with my EcoTools Brushes however it does go with some brushes from Essence that I will review once I use them!

Please excuse my terrible streaky nails!!!

As I had never used brushes before I did have to practice a while till I fully got the hang of it! At first I'd find that my makeup was streaky, however once I did I found that it did the job marvellously! My makeup looks amazing, not streaky at all and I find that it helps me get an even coverage (compared to when I used my hands...)
Of course I have never tried any other foundation brushes so I have nothing to compare it to, but I actually love it and have not stopped using it! Also although it's a flat brush it does fan out a little but not so much as to damage the brush!

So if your looking for a foundation brush on the cheap! Definitely try this!

Poundland Haul (Nail Stickers & Charms)

Since the last time I popped into Poundland I found such amazingly cheap nail products I thought I'd go back and see what else I could find.! All for £1 each.!.!.

These stickers are of Dragon Flies, Stars and Flowers both in Silver and Black with little rhinestones. All very cute.!.!.

These Floral Nail Stickers are a little larger. I presume for when your nails are significantly longer or I guess for a strong bold nail? They come in predominantly black with some pink, purple and white petals. Very cute but bold.

And finally these 3D Floral Nail Charms with a rhinestone at the center. I am super excites about these two.!.! Especially considering how much I loved the last Aurora Nail Bow Nail Charms.

So have you tried any of these yet?

Please excuse the messy edges!

7. Once completely dry add a dot of Top Coat or Nail Glue to where the bow will be.
8. Place the bow on the dot and hold till dry.

9. And Viola.!.! Cute nails.

You can get a set of these for £1 a pack from Poundland which comes with 10 bows (2 per colour).

Bridal Nails (Allura - Nail Charms)

It's your special day. You have the perfect dress, styled hair... But wait...what about your nails?
Why not try adding Nail Charms to try and give a twist to the classic French Manicure? These Allura Nail Charms have a Nail Charm for anyone's preference. And the whole pack comes for as little as £1 from Poundland.!.!

I have used my two favourites which are the two bows, for this look. Now you don't have to do the same but I think it looks sooo cute.!.! Your going to also need a white and silver nail polish.!

1. Paint you nails White. (A couple of coats should do, to get that solid white colour)
2. With a Silver Nail Polish paint a line right at the end of your nail. (Almost imitating a French Manicure)
3. Let that completely dry.!.!.!.!

4. With a top coat add a dot to the area where your Charm will be.
5. Place the Charm onto the dot and hold it till dry.
6. Ta-Daa.!.!.! Unique and fabulously cute nails.!!

Due to the size of the Big Bow I decided to add it to the thumb and I used the smaller one on the Ring finger since the bow's special  it's White and Silver.!
So get creative and try these out.!!

P.S. Remember these charms will add weight to your nails and so it will be harder to do things....but I promise it's worth it.!

Revlon - 281 Classy

I have been looking for a pinky/peachy toned nail polish for ages, and lucky I got this one for £1....BARGAIN.!.!.!

On my skin tone (Medium/Tan) it doesn't stand out. Outdoors or in this pictures it tends to camouflage/blend into my skin, but in reality it's a really cute natural peachy tone.

Why not pick one up from Poundland?

Argan Oil (Xpel Products)

As we've seen over the years Argan Oil products have been popping up everywhere, and so being a girl who struggles with frizz I decided to try these out:

These two Argan Oil (Xpel Marketing) only cost me £1 each (from Poundland), so I wasn't really expecting miracles but these actually aren't that bad. I only got the Conditioner and the Hair Treatment because, I really don't care what shampoo I use (although... maybe I should start to...)
Anyway. The Conditioner was actually quite nice. Its not too thick and it does have a perfumed scent but fear not its subtle. Considering that fact that its £1 for 150ml of product that actually left my hair feeling soft. I'd say it's a goodie.
The Hair Treatment (30ml) was okay. I really like the fact that it didn't leave my hair feeling crispy or really oily, but I hated the smell whilst putting it on. It reminds me of soap which is not something I look for in a treatment, but fortunately the smell doesn't stay in your hair. Also it says 4-5 drops are recommended for long hair, but I don't think that's enough (well for curly hair that is) I used about 8+ drops.

Overall I'd recommend this to those with fine (and manageable) hair, or when you find yourself on a tight budget.
