& Other Stories - Shinjuku Bloom Body Scrub

As you may have seen from my & Other Stories Haul I ended up buying the Shinjuku Blossom Scrub. I will admit I was soooo tempted to buy another Equatorial Dreams since I loved it so much but I thought I'd just try something new.

This just smells gorgeous! It has a lovely sweet floral scent that isn't sickly at all (and believe me I can get sick of scents very quickly) but this is fantastic. It's description is "Scattered Cherry Blossom petals after the rain...". I don't know about that but I know its good nonetheless.!.!.!

As you can see the colour is a lovely pink and the consistency is phenomenal. It is sooooo thick and believe this will last you ages as you really don't need much at all. Plus it lathers up too once you scrub it in with a bit of water.!.!.

You can get this for £7 for 250ml. (Which I think is completely worth it due to its consistency)
So have you guys gotten anything from & Other Stories lately?

P.S. I was told by the lovely sales lady that if you bring any previously finished scrub containers back you can get a 10% discount on your next bath product purchase.

& Other Stories - Carda Red Lamé Lip Gloss

As you may remember from my & Other Stories Haul I ended up buying one of their Lip Glosses in Carda Red Lamé which was on SALE from £7.00 down to £3.50.!.

This was one hell of a bargain especially considering the pigmentation. It is sooo bright (which I love) and is true to colour. It does have glitter particles which makes it more appropriate for the Night or Christmas but meh I don't mind. To me it just means that lips will look plumper ;)

Once I removed the packaging I was pleasantly surprised to see the engraving "& Other Stories" on the bottle.!. Don't you think this is sooo chiq.!. I just think it makes it look so expensive and classy.!.
The brush is also very nice and soft, I know some people may not find this hygienic but I like it and I don't mind. Also the bottle itself squeezes excess product so you won't be wasting lots of product.

So have you guys tried any Lip Glosses lately?

Since I first went to the store way back in May/June and bought one of their scrubs I just fell in love. So I just had to go back and purchase another scrub.!.!

I was soooo tempted to buy another Equatorial Dreams since I loved it so much but I thought I'd just try something new. And so I picked up a Shinjuku Blossom Scrub for just £7.

I also picked up one of their Lip Glosses in Carda Red Lamé which was on SALE from £7.00 down to £3.50.!.!.!. Total Barg right?!?

So have you guys gotten anything from & Other Stories lately?

P.S. I'm not sure if you remember my peace ring from my nail photos but I left it on the sink in store.!.! So sad.!.!. T.T

Summer/Holiday Essentials: Skincare

Are you planning on going on holiday or have these summery days left you confused on what products to use? Well here are my recommendations.!.!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil Free Moisturiser
This is my favourite face cream for the summer as it leaves my skin feeling cool and fresh! (Hallelujah) I love it. Its Light-weight, It doesn't break me out and I feel like its tones my face!

Boots:  £4.69 (2 for £5)
Superdrug: £3.12 (On Sale)

Malibu 15 SPF Bronzing Tanning Oil-
I'm not the biggest fan (At All!) of products that smell like coconuts as I think it's sometimes it's overpowering BUT Malibu got the formula just right! Not only does it actually smell nice but it leaves my legs (and body) feeling nourished and glowing.
Plus it has UVA & UVB protection.!.!

Superdrug: £5.99

Nivea Kids SPF 50 -
I assume that if its for kids it's perfect for sensitive skin but I only use this if its REALLY hot and sunny as it leaves a blu-ish/white-ish tinge on my skin (medium/tan...in the summer) If you have paler skin this wont affect you.
Plus it's WATER RESISTANT.! So perfect for the beach/pool.!.
AND it's got UVB &  UVB protection.!.!

Boots: £5.24 (On Sale the Baby one)

Holland & Barrett - Aloe Vera Gel
Now if you've been a little naughty and have forgotten to reaply your sun cream throughout the day, and you now find yourself burnt....well Barbadensis Aloe Vera Gel will become your best friend with its healing and cooling properties plus it prevents your skin from peeling!
You could use a after sun cream but when I went to Barbados for a holiday locals sold Aloe Vera Gel for sun burnt holidayers and it pretty much saved our vacation.!

Plus this one is ORGANIC, Suitable for VEGETARIANS & VEGANS.!

200ml - £6.99 (2 for £7)
100ml - £3.99

Other Stories - Equatorial Dreams Body Scrub -
Scrubs for me are an essential item you must have no matter what especially in the summer as you get all sweaty and clammy and since sun creams are sooo heavy your gonna want to get that off. Plus crusty/flakey legs are a big No No..!

Other Stories (Regent Street) - £7

Soap & Glory - Return to Slender, Body Contouring Gel
This unfortunately is no longer available (T.T) and I literally stocked up when I last bought them.
So of course I went on a search to find an alternative for you guys but the ones I found were extremely expensive (Clarins Body Lift Cellulite Control 200ml - £36) BUT thanks to Beauty Angel recommended one she'd tried. (Nivea Q10 Cellulite Cream 75ml - £7.45) very affordable.!

Boots: £7.45 (Nivea Q10)
Debenhams: £36 (Clarins)

I love these gels because they are cooling (really cold) and so this helps tighten/clench  your muscles giving you slender looking legs.! (Of course if you want spectacular legs then obviously we're going to have to do excessive too! ;)

So what are your Skincare essentials?
And have you tried any other body contouring gels?

& Other Stories - Equatorial Dreams Body Scrub

.!.One of the BEST body scrub I have ever used.!.
Equatorial Dreams Body Scrub - 250ml for £7

Last time I went shopping down Oxford Street/Regent Street I popped into the new (well....relatively new since its store opened up in March) & Other Stories. It's owned by H&M but its designed independently and kinda caters to the higher-end high street shopper, however you must check out their Bath & Body section.!.
Directions: In the shower/bath: smooth over damp skin
 and massage well. Rinse off.

As you can see the scrub comes in an amazing blue colour (which I love) and I must say the thickness of this body scrub is phenomenal.
I usually find that body scrubs can be really watery but my gosh this isn't.!.
You may already know that I suck at describing scents, but I know this smells amazing; sweet but also fresh.

A lovely surprise was that it also created a little bit of foam which I think is fantastic as most scrubs don't usually do this.
This also left my skin feeling soft and most of all fresh & scented!

Overall I would definetly recomend this product to everyone who love scented scrubs. and It's definetley affordable. (considering the prices of other scrubs and quality)

P.S. What other scrubs have you tried? Or what other scents from & Other Stories have you tried?
