Sanctuary Spa Relax Cocooning Body Butter

You may remember for Christmas I got one of the Sanctuary Spa Body Butter Gift Set with 3 of their body butters (Cocooning, Mandel Lular and their Original Body Butter). Today I will be reviewing their Cocooning Body Butter 100ml!
I had never tried any of Sanctuary Spa Products before so I was looking forward to it, especially as I heard that they were very good.

This particular one is meant to help calm and unwind after a long stressful as it contains:

"Vetivert - Helps to calm the mind,

Cederwood - Helps promote clarity, 

Labdanunm - Helps to provide relaxation "

 

It also contains Shea, illipe (a butter pressed from tree nuts) and sacred lotus so its meant to be incredibly moisturising and perfect for dry skin. As you can tell from the ingredients (illipe and sacred lotus) are considered mainly Asian (Malaysian and Chinese) so it is expected that the overall fragrance is very Oriental and deep. This is further reinforced as you see a Koi Fish shadow on the packaging which I thought was a cute touch.

However contrary to what its meant to do I did not find this relaxing at all, which was very disappointing to me as it states its meant to relax. The scent wasn't overly strong which I like, but it want exactly phenomenal either. It was intriguing though as its a very deep unusual scent, that honestly I can't place! (sorry I suck at describing scents!)

Now the consistency is lovely! Its nice and thick but not so stiff that its hard to use. So it's perfectly easy to massage it into the skin! It is actually very moisturising and leaves the skin feeling nice and soft.

Overall this is a lovely body cream but I don't think I'd be repurchasing this for myself as the scent just didn't quite match with me. I do recommend you try it as it is cheaper then other brands (i.e. Body Shops 200ml for £13). Lastly if you don't like strong scents this might just be perfect for you as it is very understated and muted scent.

What I got for Christmas!

As it was Christmas I thought it would nice to share with you what I got this year!

Like everyone I was given the gifts I Love, the ones I Needed and the you really shouldn't have, no really gifts.

So first the best gift ever was the Surface Tablet 2 (from which I'm currently writing from.!.!.!)

Then these 3 lovely jumpers. A Grey Knitted Jumper from Lipsy and a Beige and Dark Green Jumper from Primark.!.

A Knitted Polo Neck Jumper from H&M and a Pyjama Nightdress from BHS. 

You guys probably think I'm mad.!. T'is the season to be wearing fluffy trousers as PJ's but I find it uncomfortable and much prefer sleeping in shorts and baggy t-shirts or a Nightdress.

A Carhartt Grey Beanie, a silver Anklet, and 2 earrings.

Body Shop Cranberry Set and a Barry M Lipgloss, Headmaster Root Boost Mousse and Headmaster Shine Spray (All from my bestie.!.! YES I'm too spoilt.!.)

Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter, Sanctuary Spa Body Soufflé. 

French Connection Purse, Body Spray, Lipgloss and Mirror.

And a JLS Kiss Perfume.

That's all.!.! Well I shall let you decide what category they fit in.

Body Shop Haul

Body Shop have a huge sale going on online (and in-store) and I just could stop myself from ordering some stuff (especially with the discount code 14669.!)

 

I got this 100ml of Love ETC Eau de Parfum for only £9.97 when it's worth £25.!.!

This scent is a Floral/Musky scent... (I suck at describing but it is actually very nice.!)and not only that this perfume partakes in "Community Fair Trade with their Organic Alcohol coming from sugarcane grown in Ecuador." So I can feel reassured that those who contributed to this earned a fair wage.!

I also got this Mint Lip Roll On Gloss: Usually from £4  but I got it down to £2.60.!.!  
To me this is by far one of the BEST Lip Gloss' I have ever owned.! I bought one last year when it first came out and just had to repurchase it.! It leaves an amazing "tingly?" feeling on my lips. They  immediately feel plumed and soooo soft.! 
and If your lips are dry & crusty (admit it.... it happens to the best of us) This will repair it instantly. 



Then I got 3 Body Butters:

1. A Raspberry One

From £13 usually, to £6 on sale, to then £3.25.!.!.!

2. A Passion Fruit One

Again From £13 usually, to £6 on sale, to then £3.25.!.!.!

3. And my all time favourite Cranberry.!.

Usually a Christmas Scent From £13 usually, to £5 on sale, to then £2.60.!.!.!

I got loads of the creams for my family and friends and I saved a total of £80 due to the discount code 14669.! So if I can convince you to get anything from the Body Shop it would be the Mint Roll On Gloss (as I can't possibly rave anymore about it.!.!)

So guys get online and get shopping!
